People can see what they will in a fluffy cloud or dark shadow, so it is only natural that some would see leaf animals on the ground, especially in the fall season. Leaf animals are just what it sounds like, animals made out of leaves. Dried magnolia leaves, to be exact. Of course, these creatures were carefully crafted, not found in these specific forms before a magnolia tree.
Created by Baku Maeda, an artist and illustrator who is known for his ribbon sculptures, the leaf animal series is just as impressive. Making only minimal cuts and curving the material where needed, he has managed to recreate the likeness of foxes, lizards and more. Of course, people might see their own set of leaf animals when they lay their eyes on them.
