Fresh Tribal Fashion

LaLa Berlin's Spring/Summer ‘11 Collection Fuses Prints with Clea

LaLa Berlin, one of the most anticipated shows of Berlin Fashion Week, presented a new take on tribal for the Spring/Summer 2011 season. Fusing the summer ideal with the prevailing penchant for minimalism, LaLa Berlin showcased tribal-inspired prints on loose chiffon dresses and tops, in an exploration of a new summer tribal.

Two-way color palettes add a fresh and contemporary twist, especially when paired with stark candy stripes. Nodding to the origins of the brand, LaLa Berlin included knitwear, with the cobweb knits pulling inspiration from the ever-influential Rodarte. Billowing dresses, slashed to the navel and executed in a delicate tangerine shade, added an unexpected and sensual twist.
