The fourth installment of KENZO's La Collection Memento is quite indicative of the founder's whimsical imagination. The garments are informed from some of the "house’s most vivid and diverse prints and graphics." For the launch, Kenzo Takada took inspiration from fruits and veggies. Although unconventional, the presentation of aesthetics is quite classy, sound and fashion-forward.
The playfulness of the La Collection Memento N°4 has been captured in an editorial by Campbell Addy. The lookbook is just as thematically potent as the garments themselves. The backdrop of the photoshoot is a gigantic supermarket, equipped with enormous plastic baskets and colorfully curated produce.
Staying true to its ethos and origin, the drop also pays tribute to KENZO's tiger — a recurring "symbol of strength and power."
