The human skeletal structure is really rather complex; however, for the sake of creating a kid-friendly conceptual composition, the Kranium Compartment takes a charming form.

Dare I say, the skull-shaped bowl looks cute and not menacing, but it would be interesting to see it through the eyes of a child. The idea behind the momento mori mortar is that it acts as the secret place for the storage of one's valuables.

The dish does not lock, but when the cranium cap is set in place, the globe appears somewhat contained. This may be the second stage for disguising possessions, if the boy next door hasn't been warded off by the morbid appearance. Made by Acne Jr. of a smoothly white painted pine wood, the Kranium Compartment offers anatomical decor and a bony box.
