Although strikingly minimalist, the Kobi Outdoor Chair boasts some great details that set itself apart from other patio and backyard furniture pieces. First of all, it has a grid-like bucket seat that is fantastically contemporary as well as wood legs that add a touch of nature and traditional elegance to it.
The Kobi Outdoor Chair was created by French designer Patrick Norguet for the Italian furniture manufacturer Alias. It is comprised of a woven soldered round steel wire basket complete with luxurious cushioning in various colors including canary yellow, sky blue and blood red. The legs are made out of stove-enameled aluminum that is left either exposed or finished with an oak veneer. The Kobi Outdoor Chair was recently represented at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile during Milan Design Week 2012.
