Clei's 'Ecooking' compact kitchen unit made a lot of waves last year when it came out last year, but despite being packed with features, the details were a little sparse. However, Clei released another colorful iteration of the tower for the 2014 Salone del Mobile, which could be promising for the future of small space kitchens.
The tower is about 27" square all around and manages to pack in everything you'd have in a normal kitchen into this tight space, including a microwave, sink, dishwasher, cooking range, fridge and exhaust. To use, each of these appliances can be rotated outward from the main body of the tower.
The Ecooking tower also includes a micro-sized vertical green garden and a few solar panels. With access to enough direct sunlight, Clei notes that these panels could even "[power] parts of the appliances independently."
