Student-Designed Runway Shows

The Kingston School of Art Put on a Futuristic Fashion Show

The Kingston School of Art is one of the most notable fashion universities in London and recently, it sent its bachelor students to create a runway show with their graduate collections. The school invited guests to the Oxo Tower Wharf located on the city's South Bank during the last day of London Fashion Week to see the looks.

The runway show featured the work of 21 students with a focus on kinky latex materials, intricate tailoring, and streetwear silhouettes. Five of the graduates received awards for outstanding looks and topped their class. The winner of outstanding menswear was Charles Francis Hemsley, delivering traditional apparel for the queer community through a collection of 8 looks that are made from upcycled materials.
