A Forever Fan Gets a KFC Tattoo in the Restaurant's New Advertisement
Alyson Wyers — May 7, 2014 — Lifestyle
While customer testimonials and similar strategies have been used in advertising for some time, this KFC tattoo commercial permanently changes the brand loyalty game. In a new video uploaded on the fried chicken chain's YouTube account, they follow a die-hard Double Down fan to get the burger inked on his calf. The tattoo artist also throws in that living in Kentucky, he guesses he has tattoo'd the Colonel's face more than anyone else's.
While the new KFC tattoo recipient acknowledges it will be a funny conversation piece for the rest of time, he also makes the point that "you don't get a tattoo unless it means something." Not a stranger to permanent ink, the man has several other visible tattoos. While we sometimes regret indulging in fast food, hopefully this man won't come to regret this decision.
