While Google Glass and the Apple Smartwatch take the form of physical devices that extend the body's natural abilities, this keyboard technology concept envisions an innovation that would be integrated into fabric.
The 'Wearable Keyboard' concept would involve the use of polymer electrodes on a knit textile, which provides flexibility and stretching as a material. Rather than trying to phase out other wearable technology, it's imagined that this keyboard could make it easier to interact with smart devices. Plus, since it sits in such close proximity to the body, it is always accessible. Technology is already becoming much more wearable, but the development of this wearable keyboard could significantly enhance interfaces between humans and machines.
