Giving business cards a lyrical spin, designer Katharina Hölz created business cards that contain music. The cards can be fed through a device called a music box that plays the tune contained on the card. Each card contains cutouts that store the resulting melody. Along with the required contact information, Hölz included nine mini tunes for the card's recipient to enjoy.
Created for the experimental music group Ritornell, the cards match the brand perfectly. The quirky cards serve its intended purpose of being company credentials while helping recipients remember that the card came from a music group.
Though fairly long when extended, the cards can definitely help aspiring musicians get noticed and remembered. In an increasingly crowded job market, any advantage that you can get should be seized.
