The Kate Sylvester Fall 2012 collection is an expertly crafted collection full of a great mix of flirty feminine dresses and sharp suits. While the clothing is impeccably created, it is the runway show that made the collection so memorable.
Inspired by the 2002 film 'The Secretary' starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader, the Kate Sylvester Fall 2012 runway show featured the models replicating some of the movie's memorable scenes.
The subtly S&M-inspired collection was made even more stunning by the minimalist makeup by Shirley Simpson for M.A.C. and sharp, slick ponytails by Lauren Gunn at Stephen Marr for Wella.
According to a review by The Dot, "Kate’s models revealed the new Kate Sylvester Opticals range, which featured a classic round-shaped frame and the mid century cat-eye shape in a palette of honeys, olives, tortoiseshell, eggshell and blush pink."
