The creator of the Kangeri Nomadic Radiator expresses the wastefulness that can often come of central heating systems. This consideration was one of the influences in Satyendra Pakhalé Associates' development of a mobile domestic heater. The idea is to move about your home with this device kept at your side so that it is only increasing the temperature of your immediate surroundings, rather than that of unused rooms.
Aesthetically inspired by a household pet, the Kangeri Nomadic Radiator has a bulbous body and a protruding neck-like element. The shell is made from glossy black- or white-coated aluminum and the cap at its head is made from wood. This component serves as a safe-to-touch handle by which you can pull the endearing appliance closer to you to stay cozy.
