The Julian Appelius Dado Lamp Brightens Your Home with Geometry

The Julian Appelius Dado lamp is a cubic lantern that dangles from the ceiling of your house due to a suspended black fabric cable from the corner of the cube so that you can view it from alternate angles . It was designed by the German artist for the Pulpo home decor company.

The lamp has a powder-coated 1.5 millimeter steel plate that rest on top of an acrylic glass filament like an open book. Metal magnets mount the lamp, they are secured with glue to the filament proving accessibility to the E27 light socket so changing the bulb is not an issue. The light display comes in standard shades of black and white, but also gold, green and bold red, which add a modernly tasteful touch to your home environment.

The Julian Appelius Dado lamp comes in two cubic sizes: 15 by 15 and 22 by 22 centimeters.
