Tremor-Investigating Research Partnerships

JOGO Health Announces a Collaboration with Mayo Clinic

JOGO Health recently announced its collaboration with Mayo Clinic to investigate various types of tremors, including those associated with Parkinson's disease, functional tremors, and essential tremors. This partnership aims to combine Mayo Clinic's expertise in medical research with JOGO Health's development of non-invasive digital therapeutics. The goal is to enhance treatment options for tremor patients using AI-driven technologies.

The study will focus on functional tremors, which are particularly difficult to treat due to the need for specialized therapy. Currently, treatment programs for these tremors are limited and often require patients to take significant time off from their daily activities. JOGO Health's existing digital therapeutic device — JOGO-Gx — which uses wearable sensors and an AI-powered app, has already shown promise in treating Parkinson's disease.

The one-year study will commence in September 2024 and aims to validate and expand upon previous findings. Mayo Clinic's financial interest in the technology will support its not-for-profit mission, which includes patient care, education, and research.
