Inspired by the gleam and glamour of precious stones, designer and artist Thanh-Truc Nguyen created her Objects and Jewelry line to have the same look, but be made of completely different materials.
Instead of gems and minerals, Nguyen uses mesh metal in her jewelry collection, crafting colander-like creations that are wrought in gorgeous jewel tones. Some of the mesh designs feature a duo chrome that changes in color depending on the angle at which it is viewed, projecting a realistic imitation of a sparkly crystal. Because they are hollow, the earrings and baubles are incredibly light and easy to wear.
