Internet-Honoring Posters

These Images are Contest Submissions for the Annual Webby Awards

In honor of this year's Annual Webby Awards, these posters have been submitted by iconic companies following the theme 'The Internet Can't Be Stopped.' The images range from profound to humorous. They have one commonality, which is assuring society that the Internet is not a bubble about to burst, it's here to stay.

One of the most interesting submissions comes from Google. The poster shows a series of emoji icons starting with a floating head wearing virtual reality goggles. The posters give subtle nods to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter through recognizable icons as well. On the other hand, Swedish ad agency Forsman & Bodenfors created a meme poster to bring a highly comical aura to the competition.

In honor of 20th Annual Webby Awards, these posters highlight big companies and their support of the Internet. More posters will soon be available for viewing on the organizations website.
