The ABUS 440A U-lock is an intelligent bike lock reinforced with a durable steel lock body and 12mm round shackle. This unique lock was designed in Germany with the mantra of 'security needs quality behind its development.
The lock features a 100db alarm system with a 3D Position Detection System (PDS). The PDS system increases accuracy compared to a standard GPS. The lock comes in a standard version and a smaller shackle version. The smart alarm system uses an enduring coin cell battery. The alarm begins emitting warning beeps with small pulls but starts an ear-splitting alarm with continued movement. The intelligent bike lock features a Tex USH bracket and silicone impregnated strap, so installing the system on tubes is user-friendly.
