Art Director Castro Desroches Turned Instagram into a Showcase of His Work

Art director Castro Desroches needed to put together a portfolio and thought to himself: "What better way to spin it than to put the entire thing on Instagram?"

Now, his @castro.portfolio account on Instagram is home to a unique representation of his work that takes full advantage of the platform's grid layout on a mobile phone. The finished result is a project that he calls 'Frame by Frame,' which involved the creation of 300 images, seven videos and getting banned from Instagram three times in the process. While there are professional networks like LinkedIn out there, Desroches thought that his platform lacked the ability to show his true character.

@castro.frame is a second account from Desroches that provides more insights on his personal milestones, early childhood and turning points in his career.
