Instagram Blend Create Communal Reel Playlists with Friends

Instagram Blend is a new feature from the Meta-owned social networking app that's intended to provide users with a communal social experience centered on content. The feature works by enabling users to create a Blend by tapping the icons and inviting people to participate, which will place everyone into the same chat where they can share Reels with one another. Users will also be able to scroll through Reels that are suggested to the other people in the Blend, which will expose them to more content outside of what the algorithm offers them.

Instagram Blend is being rolled out now via the brand's updated app, but isn't live for all users with additional availability expected to arrive in the days and weeks ahead.
