Plant-Based Baking Ingredient Substitutes

Ingood by Olga Showcased Two New Plant-Based Ingredients

Ingood by Olga has announced that it will introduce two new plant-based ingredients at the Food Ingredients Europe event in Paris that prioritize versatility, sustainability and functional nutrition. The ingredients include the LENGOOD and PEPTIPEA ingredients, which are formulated with the changing food industry in mind to accommodate enhanced nutrition without losing sight of sustainability or flavor.

The LENGOOD ingredient is positioned as a plant-based substitute for eggs and is crafted with fermented lentils to give it the right consistency for gelling, emulsifying and texturizing. The PEPTIPEA ingredient, on the other hand, is a pea protein hydrolysate suited for aerated food items like mousses, candies and ice creams. The new ingredients from Ingood by Olga are slated to help further optimize the capabilities for food manufacturers.
