Prosecco-Infused Chickens

Aldi's Festive British Chicken is Basted with a Boozy Marinade

There are dozens of infused chicken recipes available to consumers online, but many of them spotlight simple spices like cardamom and thyme. In order to help consumers indulge over the holiday season, Aldi offered a decadent Specially Selected Prosecco Infused British Chicken.

The whole chicken was basted with a Prosecco marinade, a wine and mushroom seasoning and topped off with a finish of edible gold for added luxury. To preserve the freshness of the product, the whole chicken could be cooked in a bag to seal in all of its rich juices and flavors.

For the holiday season, Aldi also unveiled a range of festive products that incorporated alcohol in some way or another, such as its Specially Selected Outdoor Bred British Pork Cocktail Sausages with Prosecco, Cranberry and Orange.
