It's common knowledge -- at least it should be at this point -- that consumers are being tracked quite meticulously for their habits and now InfoScout is allowing them to get a cut out of the business. Through the InfoScout app, consumers will be able to sell their shopping data to marketers.

Of course, the rewards revolve around such incentives as credit card-style reward points and sweepstakes entries. Yet InfoScout recognizes that this is not only enticing, but it provides something for a relatively easy ask. InfoScout boasts different apps that are meant to target various demographics. For instance, the app Receipt Hog attracts more single people and those who enjoy its casual gaming dynamic.
