Porcelain Beauty Portraits

Beauty photography is like an art form on its own and the Iira Book Shots photo series shows just why this is the case. It is often an experimentation in hair and makeup and the creations that are explored and executed end up being wearable art that will probably never be seen on the streets but will at least make an appearance in a coffee book or two.

Photographed by Vilnius, Lithuania-based Natalie Shau, the Iira Book Shots photo series is very diverse. Each image is very different from the next, yet they are all tied together thanks to a minimalist backdrop.

I especially find the geometric shot in the Iira Book Shots photo series interesting because it draws on a huge fad right now in the fashion industry.
