The United Nations Development Programme works in collaboration with iHeartMedia to raise awareness on climate change issues, highlighting overall Sustainable Development Goals. The public service announcement campaign launched across the media platform in order to spark inspiration to globally participate in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
These goals mark the steps to protect the planet from the effects of poverty, inequality, and climate change. The first phase of this campaign features artists including Max, Steve Aoki, AJR, Rachel Crow, and more encouraging people to incorporate initiatives in their lives to reduce waste starting with small acts. UNDP Communications Director Mila Rosenthal states, "It’s a huge boost to reach millions of people with tangible ways they can catalyze change. Every person who gets inspired and gets involved will help show world leaders that it’s time to step up and keep their Global Goals promises.”
