Distressed Desert Editorials

The i-D Winter Imaan Hammam Photoshoot Displays Barren Backdrops

The i-D Winter 2014 editorial featuring Imaan Hammam displays an assortment of bare, desert-themed backdrops. Hammam stood in front of blue skies and low peaks, captured here for the publication by photographer Zoe Ghertner.

Ghertner captured an assortment of outfits that were put together by stylist Tracey Nicholson. Selected by Nicholson were cropped cream bandeaus, high rise denim jeans and snakeskin jackets, pieces that make this i-D magazine production all the more striking.

With bright 1980s print bikinis and patterned jackets, Nicholson is proving that there is no such thing as too daring of a look. Instead, the style expert is advocating for avant-garde ensembles that will make for memorable displays of high end fashion.
