An IBM Patent Shows a Smart Watch Which Unfolds into a Tablet

An IBM patent reveals a smartwatch that can unfold to be either a smartphone size and can further extend into a tablet size. IBM is a company that produces a lot of patents, with many of them never being released to the market, the company has more patents than any other company for the previous 26 years.

The IBM patent details a single-panel watch that can unfold into a four-paneled display, which is phone-sized. From the phone size, the watch can be further unfoled into a tablet size, which uses all eight panels of the design. Currently, the design is just a patent and IBM has not indicated any plans to bring it to market.
