It's up to the producers and the designers as whether or not to picture to product on its box, and I.C.O.N. Set packaging seems to achieve a happy medium between the two. The parcels that contain complete collections of salon products flaunt a very graphic and representational aesthetic in one.

Version-X Design actually took tiny images of the cosmetics bottles and turned them into a visual motif for the elaborately patterned printed labels. Stamps of different sized containers form a compelling visual on top of a charcoal black box base, and each ornate sleeve is backed by a bright shiny color of gold, pink or blue. Also designed with the Earth in mind, I.C.O.N. Set packaging can be reused to store makeup and jewelry after its original contents are emptied.
