An ultra-adorable and convenient hut rental can be found in the Kimo Valley. The little A-frame structure is designed to be "assembled in-situ by a two-person team." The tent-shaped hut rental is drafted in collaboration between Geelong-based studio Anthony Hunt Design and Ballarat-based firm Luke Stanley Architects.
The layout and aesthetic of the A-frame structure is created to offer refuge and mindful isolation to its temporary dwellers. Operating as an Airbnb, the hut rental does not invade the natural landscape. While the exterior is somewhat traditional, Anthony Hunt Designs and Luke Stanley Architects make sure that the operational aspects of the interior are up-to-date with modern technology — from solar panels that provide a renewable power source to the instant hot water system.
