Hunted on CBS is a show about some of the strategies that law officers and intelligence officials use when conducting a manhunt. The show, which pits teams of two against 32 agents, detectives and veterans, shows off the powers of surveillance in modern society and the trails that people leave as they go through their daily lives.

The concept of Hunted on CBS is relatively simple. Pairs have to avoid capture from the team of investigators and manhunters for 28 days, and if they get caught, they lose. The rules are relatively sparse other than that: contestants are limited to a 100,000 mile radius in the southeastern US, and they only have access to $500 (which can be withdrawn in increments of $100) throughout the course of the investigation.

Hunted questions whether average modern citizens have the know-how to stay off the grid.
