Artist-Centric Hotel Programs

Hotel Belmar Costa Rica Invites Artists to Its Residency Program

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking Monteverde Cloud Forest with the Hotel Belmar Costa Rica Artist Residency Program, a unique initiative fostering creativity and cultural exchange. This carbon-neutral luxury ecolodge is now accepting applications for its March 2025 residency, providing artists with room, board, and potential stipends to fuel their artistic journey.

Launched in 2019, this quarterly program unites international and Costa Rican artists across all mediums. Residents draw inspiration from Hotel Belmar’s stunning surroundings, including regenerative farming at Finca Madre Tierra, guided forest immersions, and tranquil yoga rituals. During their stay, artists engage with guests and the local community through open studios, workshops, and exhibitions, enriching the travel experience for all.

Curated by Managing Director Pedro Belmar and Costa Rican artist Martha Palacio, the residency champions environmental awareness and cultural dialogue. Applications are open until February 6, 2025.
