As eco-friendly transportation methods take center stage in many countries worldwide, the Honda Prologue leads the automotive brand's push towards all-electric vehicles. The Honda Prologue is an electric-powered SUV, the first of two that Honda is engineering alongside GM to enter the North American car market. Both electric vehicles will draw on GM's Ultium battery technology to power them.
The Honda Prologue marks the brand's attempt to move toward an all-electric automotive lineup by 2040. This historic move comes as a much-needed response to the ongoing climate crisis exacerbated by fossil fuel emissions. The Honda Prologue will help reduce emissions while offering a versatile vehicle to consumers. Honda of America's sales chief, Dave Gardner, said, "With the Prologue, our goal is to provide a highly competitive product with the functionality to meet the diverse needs of our customers."
