BestQool's BQ60Pro is a Next-Gen Home Red Light Therapy Device

— February 28, 2026 — Tech
BestQool announced the launch of the BQ60Pro, a next-generation home red light therapy device that builds upon its predecessor's design with enhanced spectral capabilities and a more versatile mounting system to offer users greater flexibility and therapeutic potential. The device features an expanded six-wavelength configuration, including 630 nm, 660 nm, 680 nm, 810 nm, 850 nm, and 940 nm. This versatility allows the light to penetrate tissues at various depths and support a range of physiological functions — from superficial skin healing and collagen stimulation to deeper muscle recovery and anti-inflammatory effects.

Despite maintaining the same number of LEDs, the BQ60Pro delivers increased irradiance, achieving localized output up to 65.7 mW/cm² at six inches, and has received FDA clearance.

Trend Themes
1. Multi-wavelength Penetration - Expanded wavelength arrays allow tailored energy delivery to superficial and deep tissues, creating potential for devices that combine skin, muscle, and systemic modulation in one platform.
2. High-irradiance Compact Devices - Smaller form-factor units delivering elevated irradiance at close range suggest a shift toward portable, clinic-grade performance in personal devices without sacrificing therapeutic intensity.
3. Regulated Consumer Therapeutics - FDA clearance of home-use phototherapy products signals a convergence of medical-grade validation with direct-to-consumer access, enabling new credentialed treatment categories outside traditional clinics.
Industry Implications
1. Consumer Health Devices - The emergence of versatile, high-performance home phototherapy units points to a market for integrated wellness hardware that blends diagnostics, personalized protocols, and subscription treatments.
2. Sports Rehabilitation - Enhanced tissue penetration and higher localized output present opportunities for recovery tools that offer rapid inflammation control and accelerated musculoskeletal repair at training facilities and in-field settings.
3. Dermatology and Aesthetics - Broad-spectrum red and near-infrared combinations create scope for noninvasive skin remodeling platforms that address collagen stimulation, wound healing, and pigmentation with clinic-level efficacy.
