For the most part, having a home gym requires a dedicated room or at the very least, a certain amount of space that can be set aside for working out—Mirror is a start-up that is introducing what it calls "the world’s first nearly invisible, interactive home gym."
True to its name, Mirror takes the form of a hanging wall mirror that may be used to tap into in-home, on-demand live fitness classes. The system reminds of the way many homes and hospitality venues often integrate TV mirrors to enhance the look of an interior space.
Mirror boasts its own LCD panel, speakers, camera and microphone so that classes and engaging one-on-one sessions may be followed with the same ease as an in-person class. To keep the surface of the mirror clean and free of fingerprints, Mirror has users interact via an accompanying app.
