No Christmas is complete without a holiday nutcracker, which is exactly what Eddie Bauer has created with the commemorative Steinbach Mountaineer Nutcracker.
The contemporary cracker is being released to celebrate the first-ever ascent of Mount Everest by Jim Whittaker in 1963 and is manufactured especially for the classic outdoors brand by German nutcracker makers Steinbach. Whittaker was outfitted during his arduous journey to the top of Everest in Eddie Bauer gear, which explains the strong significance of the commemorative figurine. Dressed in patriotic red, white and blue shades, the nutcracker is being manufactured in extremely low quantities and sells for $349.99.
While it is only for decorative purposes, this holiday nutcracker comes with a certificate of authenticity and is sure to please any savvy collector.
