Soundtrack-Paired Endurance Challenges

Pure Energy Music Boasts the #HoldThatBody Challenge

Pure Energy Music has introduced a fitness phenomenon called the #HoldThatBody challenge, which is a 3½-minute endurance test centred around a specially engineered soundtrack that dictates every movement and static hold.

Essentially, the #HoldThatBody challenge integrates the track as the active director of the exercise, guiding participants through a sequence of 24 squats or press-ups followed by timed pauses where they must freeze in position or risk elimination. The bespoke composition — 'Pick It Up Put It Down' by The Super Freaks — operates at 81 beats per minute and contains verbal cues such as 'Hold that body' and 'Don't touch the ground.' This effectively replaces the need for a human coach and ensures that every participant shares an identical experience regardless of location.

The rules are straightforward — choose either a squat or a press-up, press play, and follow the auditory instructions until physical failure forces a drop, with the final individual remaining upright declared the victor.
