Hinge No Ordinary Love Celebrates Authentic Relationship Stories

Gen Z treats dating apps differently than earlier generations, and the Hinge No Ordinary Love campaign acknowledges this by sharing the dating app's first-ever audiobook, focused on vulnerable conversations in early dating. With No Ordinary Love, Hinge worked with five contemporary authors to tell the stories of five real-life couples through audio-first content accessible on Spotify, Libby, and Substack. Created as an extension of Hinge's Designed To Be Deleted platform, No Ordinary Love includes tales of broken text messaging rules and discussions of exclusivity, and an epilogue with reflections from the couples.

"We wanted to create something that felt less like a campaign and more like a story people could recognize themselves in,” said Jamie Knowles, Managing Director of Dazed Studio. “Audio gave us the space to slow down, sit with those moments and remind people that vulnerability is often what makes a connection meaningful.”
