This High-Tech Submersible Boasts a Surprisingly Small Footprint

Triton has launched a high-tech submersible that makes use of innovative engineering and design to allow for a compact package that is more than capable of comfortably carrying a group of passengers whilst also mitigating detrimental impacts on the ocean thanks to its diminutive size.

The 'Triton 660 AVA' makes use of a revolutionary acrylic pressure hull that allows it to comfortably seat a pilot and eight passengers and take them to depths of up to 200 meters below sea level for up to 12 hours when fully charged. Equipped with eight thrusters, this high-tech submersible can achieve a top speed of 5.6 km/h.

Despite these incredible specs, the submersible is only about the size of a pair of jet skis, allowing for easy storage and transportation.
