Those familiar with the lovable R2-D2 from Star Wars know that he's a wee droid with a digital heart of gold, so the Hi2-D2-Enhanced Astromech Droid is sure to come as a surprise. A redesign by a user named Lemcat, the Hi2-D2-Enhanced Astromech Droid sees the three legged droid transformed into an agile, two legged robot that's ready to rock for the Rebel Alliance. Lemcat placed the beefed up Hi2-D2-Enhanced Astromech Droid into a variety of poses that can be perused in the gallery above that sees him slaying Stormtroopers and protecting his intergalactic buddy C-3PO.
The Hi2-D2-Enhanced Astromech Droid sees the little droids components reimagined to be agile utilities like a razor on the end of its arm and a periscope in his backpack for quickly getting insight on what's up ahead.
