English student and freelance designer Ben Mazar has created an eco-friendly yacht concept called 'Hermes 66.' Constructed of hemp fiber and linseed oil-based resins, this stylish mode of transportation utilizes hydrofoil and aerofoil technologies to provide comparable performance to motor yacht counterparts. Mazar claims the Hermes 66 will provide an exceptionally smooth ride and big thrills for every passenger.
Implications - Just like a multitude of other products, transportation is also focusing on going eco. If yachts start to reduce their waste, the world's oceans and lakes will be a cleaner and happier place for both humans and animals alike. Although it takes more thought, work and energy into making these products eco, the results are what makes the hard work worth while.
