'Here Active Listening' Lets People Control Their Audio Environment

Sometimes people tune sounds out, but it's not easy to do all the time -- especially when most needed; the Here Active Listening system hopes to step in as a way to do just that with much more ease and control. Giving people complete control over their audio environment, Here Active Listening comes in the form of comfortable earbuds.

Developed by Doppler Labs, Here Active Listening has already surpassed its Kickstarter campaign goal in 48 hours. As to why, TechCrunch writes, "If you want to reduce the volume of a crying baby or a screeching subway train (without turning everything down), the Here buds will let you do that. If you’re at a concert and you want to pump up the bass, the Here buds will let you do that, too." That's pretty convincing.
