Suhyun Tech, a technology company based in South Korea, has launched an innovative new earbud accessory that is designed to make it possible for people to incorporate cutting-edge sound-filtering capabilities into their existing third-party earbuds.
The 'Silenton' earbud accessory works by taking advantage of wireless connections with the user's phone as well as their earbuds. It is fitted with a special microphone that works in conjunction with an AI-infused microprocessor in order to ensure that the volume of outside noises is reduced by 25 decibels before being relayed to the earbuds.
Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign over on Kickstarter, the 'Silenton' is a fine example of how earbud accessories can be used to add a high degree of customization to the audio-listening experiences of consumers.
