This skateboard deck is definitely a luxury item and not meant for the wear and tear of everyday skateboarders. More a show piece than a trusty road companion, the deck is completely made of vegetable tanned leather. The stitching is also tanned and the ends of the boards are rounded up, which gives it a unique shape.
Hender Scheme is known for hand making shoes, and it is safe to assume this leather skateboard is hand made as well. It comes as part of the Hender Scheme Spring/Summer 2013 Collection full of leather accessories.
