Heatonist No. Eleven by Cantina Royal is a chef-driven, limited-release hot sauce that's full of peppery heat and flavor from a traditional Mexican herb that has never appeared in packaged hot sauce. Available exclusively through Heatonist, this celebratory hot sauce marks Heatonist's 11th anniversary by matching the medium heat of serrano, habanero, and ghost peppers with toasted pepitas and epazote for a slightly sour finish.
"Epazote has incredible depth that most people in the U.S. have never encountered in a packaged product. In the kitchen, it's essential—it belongs in black beans, in quesillo, in mole. Pairing it with toasted pepitas let us bring that same authenticity into something completely new for the category,' said Chef Julio MM, Co-Founder and Executive Chef of Cantina Royal Hot Sauce.
