From inflight meditation apps to hotel suites that are equipped with specialized fitness equipment, the modern traveler is now able to partake in healthy travel experiences at all points in their journey. Although hotels have been offering gym amenities for years, consumers today are looking for much more all-encompassing experiences where their well-being is a central focus.

G Adventures is now introducing Wellness Adventures as a new collection of tours across global destinations. The first departures are set to kick off on Global Wellness Day (June 8th, 2019) and give health-conscious travelers the chance to "balance must-see highlights with a slower, more mindful pace of travel."

Mindfulness, movement and nourishment are integral to the tours, so yoga sessions, intention setting and healthy food choices are incorporated into the tours to leave travelers feeling fresh and revitalized.
