Wooden Hardware-Free Chairs

The 'Hashtag Chair' is a Luban Lock-inspired seating solution that is focused on providing a functional furniture design that can be erected without the need for any hardware. The chair is constructed entirely of plywood and works with interlocking pieces that have been precision engineered with notches to have them sit snugly against one another. This allows them to have a hashtag or hash sign-shaped design that will easily support the sitters weight once the chair top has been positioned.

The 'Hashtag Chair' is the design work of the YUUE Design Studio and identifies what can be done to make furniture more accessible as well as easy to ship thanks to its flatpack construction that is also capable of being disassembled between uses.
