Last summer a volcanic eruption occurred in Iceland stranding many tourists, and Hans Strand was one of the photographers to capture it all.
Hans Strand has taken several pictures of the natural disaster that almost presents it in more of a positive light. While some may remember the volcanic eruption as inconvenient, the Swedish photographer helps beautify the event. Strand photographed these breathtaking images from the ground, showcasing ash clouds that formed as a result of the eruption. What's striking about some of these images is how vivid they actually look considering the dark gray colors.
