This great collection of Halloween steampunk masks by Tom Banwell Designs is sure to spice up any Halloween masquerade party you might be attending this year.
Each mask is made from lightweight, vegetable-tanned leather that is then shaped to fit a face while the leather is still wet. Once the leather dries, it is then painted and sealed with an acrylic finish to give it a nice shine.
Tom and Jill Banwell run their Halloween steampunk mask shop out of Penn Valley, California, creating a vast collection of masks to choose from. Take a look at either the black raven mask, the eye cage mask, the flame mask or my personal favorite, the bird leather cut-out mask.
