Cruise beach clubs are transforming private-island stops into more premium, resort-style experiences for travelers. Holland America Line is expanding RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay with a new Beach Club featuring priority tendering, dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive beverages, beach accessories and specialty food offerings. The Bahamian destination is also receiving a new food pavilion, upgraded cabanas, additional daybeds, refreshed bars and eateries, and expanded recreational amenities. Guests can experience the updates on more than two dozen Caribbean itineraries from October 2026 through April 2027.
For Holland America Line, the upgrades extend the premium cruise experience beyond the ship while creating additional opportunities for paid experiences through Beach Club passes and upgraded amenities. Enhancing a company-controlled destination can also encourage travelers to select itineraries featuring Half Moon Cay. The improvements arrive ahead of the island’s 30th anniversary, giving the cruise line another way to refresh an established destination.
