Gufram x Luna Luna Revives Keith Haring Dog & Crawling Baby Seats

Gufram x Luna Luna revives Keith Haring Dog & Crawling Baby seats as collectible design objects by remaking the original carousel figures in polyurethane with a Guflac® finish. The Dog and Crawling Baby were first created by Haring for the 1987 Luna Luna art amusement park in Hamburg and have now been adapted into indoor furnishings which match Gufram’s radical design heritage. Each piece preserves the silhouette and lively energy of Haring’s original sculptures while being scaled and finished for domestic use. The use of soft polyurethane allows rich colour and form while maintaining a functional shape designed to sit like furniture.

The project sits at the intersection of art, design and pop culture by reintroducing historic imagery into a contemporary object context. Gufram continues its legacy of collaborating with major creatives by offering pieces that are equally expressive and functional, allowing collectors to own a piece of the Luna Luna narrative in home form.
