In its continued efforts to diversify and maintain relevancy with its users, Facebook quietly launched a group video chat app called Bonfire in Denmark. The mobile app enables you and up to eight friends and their friends to communicate via video. Like similar social networking platforms, the smartphone application also lets you express yourself by playing around with effects and take and share photos from your video chats.

Compatible with iOS devices like iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches, the standalone app from Facebook Inc is a new way to bring friends together. You can also access the group video chat app via Facebook Messenger, even if you have not actually downloaded Bonfire. It's only available to Danish people, but they can invite anyone to video chat through Messenger.
